Carnivale Metrogaine

Time: 10am - 2pm
What: Rogaining is the sport of long distance cross-country navigation. Teamwork, endurance, strategy and map reading are features of the sport. Rogaining originated from the University of Melbourne 24 hour walk and the Intervarsity 24 hour score orienteering competition.


The objective of rogaining is to collect the highest score by finding checkpoints within a set time limit.

The Port Douglas Carnivale Metrogaine will commence at the Port Douglas Life Saving Club and lead contestants on a 3 hour foot race.
