Paramour Cabaret is thrilled to be producing the live entertainment program for this year’s Port Douglas Carnivale, bringing an exciting new format and a wider variety of shows to the Big Top. This year, we’re focused on offering something for everyone — from high-energy nightlife to family fun, dazzling burlesque, laugh-out-loud comedy, and our signature comedy circus-cabaret. Across two huge weeks, guests can enjoy an ever-changing lineup of entertainment as the Paramour Big Top becomes the heart of the festival.
We kick off Carnivale with an Opening Night Launch Party, featuring a DJ, immersive atmosphere, and an all-round party vibe to officially get the celebrations started. The festivities continue with “Happy Hour”, our comedy cabaret variety show hosted by Sylvester Valentine. Packed with circus, burlesque, cheeky comedy, and a full-scale party vibe, it’s the perfect night out for ages 18+.
For lovers of glamour and tease, “Barefoot & Burlesque” delivers a decadent 60-minute burlesque experience that blends artistry, sensuality, and world-class performers. Families won’t miss out either — “Kaboom!” starring Magnus Danger Magnus brings explosive, science-based fun to the Big Top in a wild and educational show that kids absolutely adore. Rounding out the schedule is a one-night-only Stand-Up Comedy Night, showcasing top comedic talent for an evening of big laughs.
