Douglas Shire Mayor Michael Kerr expressed the town’s readiness to welcome both new and returning visitors to the much-loved event, now in its 30th year.

“For three decades this event has continued to bring our community together in a celebration of culture, creativity and camaraderie.

“As we mark this significant anniversary, we reflect on the memories and exciting moments that have defined Carnivale over the years, while looking forward to creating new ones,” Mayor Kerr said.
