Tickets to Carnivale’s Hottest Food Table Now Available

Port Douglas Carnivale’s signature cuisine event, The Longest Lunch, will return to one of the seaside town’s most iconic settings along the waterfront at Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina.

Chris Barber, venue manager at Hemingway’s Brewery, said guests could expect a world-class dining experience served with a distinctive Far North Queensland flair, as a selection of Port Douglas’ top restaurants each design and prepare a course on the day.

Salsa Bar & Grill, Zinc Restaurant & Bar, La Cucina + Bar, Kai Port Douglas and private chef Dining with April, are the culinary masterminds behind the much anticipated 2022 event, while Hemingway’s Brewery and Devil’s Thumb Distillery will handpick the drinks menu to bring out the best in each dish.

“The Port Douglas collective are hard at work collaborating together, utilising the best available local produce and native herbs and spices, to bring guests a truly local experience and we expect the menu to finalised over the coming days,” he said.

Barber said tickets were now on sale and expected the lunch to sell out very quickly.

“We believe the iconic Marina, and specifically the grassed area on the water, is a hidden gem in Port Douglas and we are excited to not only bring The Longest Lunch back to the Marina more than two decades on, but to also be able to offer guests a truly local dining experience.”

The all-weather event which will hosted under cover, will be held on Friday, May 20 and will run from 12noon to 3pm. Entertainment will be provided by the exotic and ridiculously talented Wonderland Spiegeltent performers, with cool tunes playing from DJ Bart.

Tickets are $199 and can be purchased online at www.carnivale.com.au
